ReliBond's Cold Spray technology is protected by two patent families covering both the method and the device that applies it. Together, they hold granted patents across the world's key power cable markets.
Eleven years of development, independently validated by patent offices in the United States, China, South Korea, Japan, and Europe. The patents cover what matters. They protect the Cold Spray process for connecting cables and the cable end treatment device behind it.

The Cold Spray process for jointing HV and EHV cable conductors.
The cable end treatment device that carries out the process.

What the patents mean for you.
A granted patent is independent confirmation, from the patent offices of five major markets, that ReliBond's technology is genuinely new and distinct. For a customer, it means investing in a solution no one else can legally reproduce.
It also means ReliBond can be open about how the technology works. Because the process is protected, it can be shown, demonstrated, and documented in full. The patents protect the technology, and they also make it possible to prove it.
