Measurement Equipment

The equipment behind measurements you can trust.

Some measurements need more than a prepared conductor.

Two of the most demanding jobs in a high-voltage lab are injecting very high currents into a conductor and measuring resistance you can trust. Both come down to how cleanly and evenly current moves through the contact at the conductor end.

ReliBond builds that contact with the Terminator In-Door, then adds the right equipment for the test in front of you. The Power Injector handles high-current injection. The Equalizer makes resistance measurement reliable.

Power Injector

High current, injected with almost no loss.

What

The Power Injector injects very high current loads into HV and EHV conductors with almost no loss. It is built for laboratories testing high-voltage cables and their accessories.

How

Getting that much current into a conductor cleanly is normally a slow and difficult preparation. The Power Injector uses the contact layer built by the Terminator In-Door, so the current goes in through a low-loss connection with no excess heating. A cumbersome task becomes easy, fast, and reliable.

Advantages

Injects very high current loads into HV and EHV conductors with almost no loss

Carries high current without excess heating

Ready in around 20 to 30 minutes per conductor end

Replaces a slow, cumbersome preparation with a repeatable one

Purpose-built for the high-current tests a high-voltage lab depends on.

Equalizer

Even current, for resistance you can trust.

What

The Equalizer gives uniform current distribution across a conductor, which is what reliable resistance measurement depends on. It is built for the short conductor samples used in cable production.

How

Accurate resistance measurement needs current spread evenly through the sample, and on a short sample that is hard to reach by hand. The Equalizer uses the contact layer built by the Terminator In-Door to distribute current uniformly at the end facet, so the reading holds up.

Advantages

Distributes current uniformly for reliable resistance measurement

Built for the short conductor samples used in production

Prepared in around 20 to 30 minutes per conductor end

Turns an unreliable manual step into a repeatable one

Built for the resistance measurements that keep cable production moving.
